Here I’ll take you on a journey through the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of Crete.

Crete, the largest of the Greek islands, is a place steeped in history and mythology. The island was home to the Minoan civilization, one of the oldest in Europe, which flourished around 2000 BC. You can still see the remains of the Minoan palaces at Knossos and Phaistos, and they are truly spectacular. Imagine walking through the same palace that King Minos himself once walked!

Additionally, the island’s cities and towns are worth visiting. The capital city of Heraklion is home to the magnificent Palace of Knossos, while the port city of Chania boasts a charming Venetian old town. And, don’t miss the picturesque Rethymno.
